This itinerary will help you understand what you will do on a daily basis in Buenos Aires and how your pre-surgical testing, operation, and recovery will be scheduled. You will see that this itinerary includes additional, non-invasive procedures, like teeth whitening, Botox, and a skin peel. Day One - Monday
- 09:00 a.m.
- Arrival to Buenos Aires and Transfer to Hotel
Touch down in Buenos Aires, clear customs and immigration, and collect your baggage. A SurgeryBA representative will be waiting for you at the Arrivals concourse. SurgeryBA will provide a car service to drive you and our representative to the hotel. - 11:00 a.m.
- Hotel check-In and Initial Debriefing
Your SurgeryBA representative will expedite the hotel check-in process and ensure that the hotel attends to any special needs you may have. You will be given a cell phone, your personalized itinerary, and a series of documents for you to review and sign. You will also receive a Welcome Folder with information about Buenos Aires, emergency phone numbers, restaurants and shopping in your neighborhood, etc. Your SurgeryBA representative will also assist you in exchanging dollars to pesos. - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Rest, Shower, and Lunch
Now is a a good time to nap, review your SurgeryBA documents, and grab a bite to eat. - 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Labwork
Prior to meeting your doctor, you will be accompanied to The International Patient Care Center to complete bloodwork and an EKG. - 5:00 p.m.
- Meet The Doctor
Next, you will be accompanied to meet your doctor. This is an opportunity to get to know your surgeon, to ask questions, and to become acquainted with The International Patient Care Center. You and your physician will discuss your procedures, your medical history and expectations, and instructions for pre-surgical preparation. At this time, your physician will likely take a "before" photo for the purposes of your medical records. - 6:00 p.m.
- Administrative Meeting
You will meet with a SurgeryBA agent who will assist you in booking additional entertainment and tourist activities, including tango shows, movies, theater shows, or city tours. You will reconfirm your non-invasive procedures of interest, such as Botox or Restylane injections, teeth whitening, skin peels, or a meeting with a masseuse, reflexologist, nutritionist, hair stylist, manicurist, etc. - 7:00 p.m.
- Back to Hotel & Dinner
After returning to your hotel in a SurgeryBA car, you can relax and take a quick stroll around your neighborhood. In your Welcome Folder, you will find a series of dinner options, including restaurants in your neighborhood that offer take-out and delivery. Be mindful not to snack after dinner, as tomorrow is the day of your procedure.
Day Two - Tuesday
- 8:00 a.m.
- Pick-Up
Your SurgeryBA representative will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the International Patient Care Center, where they will assist you in checking-in and completing all the administrative paperwork. - 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 a.m.

- 11:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- Post-Op Recovery
You will be monitored by a team of nurses and doctors for the time following your surgery. - 3:00 pm.
- Return to Hotel
You will be accompanied back to your hotel room by your SurgeryBA representative or a nurse and will rest for the duration of the day. Patients are advised to stand up and walk around the hotel room as soon as they are able to. A light dinner is advisable.
Day Three - Wednesday
- Sleep In
- Rest, Relax, and Recover
Patients will be able to get out of bed and walk around a bit. Your SurgeryBA representative will be in touch with you to see how you're feeling. You can order breakfast to your room or go downstairs for a bite to eat. For the rest of the day, we encourage you to rest and do quiet activities-some light walking around your hotel room or in the hallway, reading the newspaper or a book, etc. SurgeryBA provides all of its patients with an assortment of DVDs for you to enjoy during your stay. If you feel well enough and are interested, we can arrange for a manicurist to come to your room for manicures and pedicures. - 4:00 p.m.
- Nurse Visit A nurse will come to your room to check on you and monitor your recovery.
Day Four - Thursday
- 10:00 a.m.
- Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel room or head to a nearby café to sample Argentine medialunas (croissants). - 11:00 a.m.
- City Tour
Enjoy a relaxing ride around Buenos Aires and get to know the city's neighborhoods and rich history. - 5:00 p.m.
- Doctor's Appointment
SurgeryBA will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the International Patient Care Center where you will meet with your doctor for your first post-op consultation. The doctor will check your sutures, replace bandages, update your prescriptions, and monitor your overall healing. - 7:00 p.m.
- Dinner, Relax, and Sleep
Eat dinner and relax. Consider watching TV or one of the DVDs provided by SurgeryBA.
Day Five - Friday
- 11:00 a.m.
- Shopping Excursion
SurgeryBA will send a car to pick you up at your hotel and take you to the shopping mall of your choice. A personal shopper is also available to accompany you and help you pick out clothes that fit your newly recontoured body. They'll carry your bags and help identify stores that suit your style. We will also arrange to pick you up when you have finished shopping. check out Patio Bullrich, Unicenter, or Galerias Pacifico, among many others. - 8:00 p.m.
- Tango Dinner Show
Feel the spirit of Buenos Aires through the harmony and expression of its tango music and dance, while enjoying exquisite cuisine and fine wine in a historically-restored theater. This unforgetable show in a magnificent theater with French panelling, crystal lampshades, stained-glass windows, and palatial columns.
Day Six - Saturday
- 11:00 a.m.
- Palermo Soho
Explore Buenos Aires' trendiest shopping and dining district. check out the hip designer boutiques and art galleries. Eat lunch at one of the many cafes and restaurants around the neighborhood's main square. - 9:00 p.m.
- Parrilla (traditional Argentinean steakhouse)
Eat a world-famous Argentine steak and enjoy a barbeque-style Argentine feast. SurgeryBA is happy to book a reservation for you. (Porteños rarely eat dinner before 9 p.m., so enjoy a late dinner).
Day Seven - Sunday
- 11:00 a.m.
- Recoleta Fair & Mausoleum
Enjoy Buenos Aires' chicest neighborhood, Recoleta, as you peruse its crafts fair, where you will find silver jewelry, artwork, and handmade clothing. Then, take the short walk to the Recoleta cemetary, famous for its eerie beauty and its renowned residents, including Evita Peron. If time permits, take a taxi to San Telmo, the historic tango district, to explore its famous antiques fair. - 2:00 p.m.
- Return to Hotel & Relax
- 3:00 p.m.
- Botox & Restylane Injections
A SurgeryBA representative will accompany you to the International Patient Care Center for your appointment with the plastic surgeon to obtain injections that reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Day Eight - Monday
- 10:00 a.m.
- Nurse Visit
A nurse will come to your room to monitor your recovery and check your bandages. - 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
- Skin Peel
A SurgeryBA representative will accompany you to the International Patient Care Center where you will have a skin treatment, like microdermabrasion or laser resurfacing, to restore a more youthful glow.
Day Nine - Tuesday
- 11:00 a.m.
- Explore Palermo
Enjoy this lush greenery of Palermo. Explore its Botanical Gardens, Zoo, and many landscaped parks. Sample famous Argentinean ice cream at one of the many nearby heladerias (ice cream stores)- Volta, Persicco, or Freddo. - 5:00 p.m.
- Doctor's Appointment
SurgeryBA will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the International Patient Care Center where you will meet with your doctor for your first post-op consultation.
Day Ten - Wednesday
- 10:00 a.m.
- Reflexology
A reflexologist will come to your room and practice the massage of art of relexology on your feet and hands to improve your overall wellness. - 12:00 p.m.
- Puerto Madero
Enjoy sushi or steak on Buenos Aires' picturesque waterfront, the city's newest neighborhood. Take a walk on the boardwalk, and see some of the city's fanciest hotels. Porteños spend weekend afternoons strolling along the docks, riding bikes on the wide pathways, and lingering over coffee and pastries at riverfront cafes. It is lined with elegant restaurants serving Argentine steaks and fresh seafood specialties, and there is a popular multi-screen cinema complex and a private art museum. - 4:00 p.m.
- Teeth Whitening
A SurgeryBA representative will accompany you to the International Patient Care Center where you will meet with a cosmetic dentist.
Day Eleven - Thursday
- 11:00 a.m.
- Flight Reconfirmation
Call SurgeryBA to reconfirm and check the status of your flight. - 12:00 p.m.
- Hair & Makeup
Meet with a hair stylist to update highlights and get a fresh trim before you head home. Also, meet with a first-rate makeup artist to complete your look. - 3:00 p.m.
- Museum Visit
MALBA - Latin American Museum of Art
Visit this $50 million building which houses some of Latin America's greatests works of art. Opened in 2001 to rave reviews, the MALBA is a must-see on any tourist's trip to Buenos Aires.
Day Twelve - Friday
- 3:00 p.m.
- Doctor's Appointment
Removal of stitches and last consultation with physician. Upon receiving your doctor's approval to travel, return to hotel to finish packing.
Last Administrative Meeting
Wrap up all final details prior to your flight home. Return your cell phone. - 6:30 p.m.
- Pick Up, check Out, & Airport Transport
Your SurgeryBA representative will assist you in check-out, accompany you to the airport, and wish you a safe flight home.
