The Treatment
All dermal filling is injected subcutaneously –under the first layer of the skin- using a very fine needle. The skin should be healthy, without signs of previous infections or bruises. There are special techniques for each dermal filler, but the most common one is to apply several injections in one area so that the filling spreads uniformly.
*Anesthesia: local anaesthesia, combined with a sedative.
